Scottish Charity Number SC001152 The Vision of the Society is to empower blind and partially sighted people to take a full and fulfilling role in society. We will champion their rights and aspirations to achieve full equality and to have control and choice of their life and lifestyle.
The Society relies on donations in order to provide many of it's social and extra activities. The funding the Society receives from local Government is purely to meet the statutory requirements of local Government. All other activities have to be funded by the Society and we are grateful for the donations and legacies we receive which enable us to enhance our service to our clients. We receive no other funding to support these activities. Without the support of such kind donations and the efforts of our many volunteers, our activities would be very much restricted.
